We had a small group lesson with Bec at Huzza’s in Gracetown, and we couldn’t recommend her enough as a coach!!

Bec was incredible.

She was strongly safety focused and made us feel comfortable and safe the whole session. She even stayed longer than expected and managed to get us into some really nice waves, while sharing some greatly appreciated knowledge, feedback and advice to improve our surfing.

I’m very much looking forward to doing some more lessons with her down in Margaret River.

Learning how to identify and manage rips

These unique surf management sessions are tailored to the individual by your Western Australian surf coach Bec. You will learn and put the following skills into practice improving both your surfing and your confidence in the ocean.

how to clearly identify rips
rip awareness and beach / surf spot assessment
using rips to conserve energy
knowing when you are caught in a rip and what to do
build skills on how to stay calm when caught in an uncomfortable situation
practice managing rips with and without surfboards in a supported way
build your ocean skills and then expand your comfort zone

Ocean knowledge is essential to improving you surfing.

Your coach

Bec is passionate about helping people build their ocean skills and is a qualified level 2 surfing instructor, a qualified ocean lifeguard and has over 25 years experience surfing the Western Australian coastline.
