Bec is an awesome teacher! I love the way she encourages people of all ages to learn (or keep learning) to skate. Your coach

Bec is passionate about introducing people to surfing and skating. She has surfed the Margaret River coastline for 25 plus years and has extensive experience working as a Surfing Australia Surf Instructor. Bec is also a qualified lifesaver and Skate Australia Development Coach.

Longboard Skate + Introduction to Longboard Dancing

Longboard Skate – pure fun and pure flow – build balance, strength,

coordination, body awareness and confidence while skating.

Longboard Dancing – an introduction to longboard dancing – learning the basics – here you can develop grace, timing, balance and dance skills on the longboard all self paced so you can relax and enjoy the process.

Private Individual Lesson – 1 hour – $80

Private lesson x 2 people – 1 hour – $60 p/p

Private group lesson x 3 people – 1 hour $50p/p

Private group lesson x 4 people – 1hour – $45 p/p

* an additional call out fee of $120 applies to locations of Augusta, Dunsborough & Busselton

3 hour parking is available in the public car park next to Lords.
The primary entrance to the main car park is off Wembley Court, accessed via Mouritzen Way. The front car park is accessed via the one way loop off Price Street, which also continues on to join the Wembley Court roundabout and the main car park.

Surf lesson / skate lesson combined package - Margaret River

Experience the beautiful Margaret River coastline with a learn to surf, learn to skate package

Feel first hand the exhilaration of surfing in a package that includes both learning to surf and learning to skate with one experienced personal coach to help guide you in the water and while on wheels.

The skate lesson helps you activate the balance muscles and body awareness required to improve your surf skills.

The longboard skate component perfectly compliments and develops the balance and body awareness skills needed for surfing and helps build your enjoyment when learning to surf.

This surf and skate experience will run over two consecutive mornings.

This includes a one hour skate lesson and a two hour surfing lesson.

All equipment is provided or you can use your own if you have it.

Skate lesson options include:

Surf skate training (entry level) – Skatepark (beginner level) – Longboard skateboard

Your surfing lesson will be run with Bec through Margaret River Surf School.

We will head to the most suitable local location for our surf lesson and have a full two hour lesson which will include around 1.5 hours in the water after some beach based learning. Wetsuits and boards supplied or you can bring your own.

Surf Skate Lessons - SmoothStar skate lessons

Surf skate –Feel the closest thing to surfing on land, where you can really get to feel out your turns.

Surf skating, also known as surf skateboarding or surfing inspired skateboarding, is a style of skateboarding that draws from the movements and feeling of surfing.
Surf skates have a specially designed truck that allows for more fluid movement and surf style board riding.

Make the most of what surf skating can do for your surfing development.

All skate equipment and protective equipment is supplied or you can bring your own

1 hour long sessions
