Learning how to identify and manage rips
These unique surf management sessions are tailored to the individual by your Western Australian surf coach Bec. You will learn and put the following skills into practice improving both your surfing and your confidence in the ocean.
– how to clearly identify rips
– rip awareness
– using rips to conserve energy
– build skills on how to stay calm when caught in an uncomfortable situation
– practice managing rips with and without surfboards in a supported way
– build your ocean skills and authentically expand your comfort zone
Bec is passionate about helping people build their ocean skills and is a qualified level 2 surfing instructor, a qualified ocean lifeguard and has over 25 years experience surfing the Western Australian coastline
