Bec is passionate about introducing people to surfing and skating. Bec has surfed the Margaret River coastline for 25 plus years and has extensive experience working as a Surfing Australia Level 2 Surf Instructor is a qualified lifesaver and a Skate Australia Skate Development Coach.

Longboard Skate + Introduction to Longboard Dancing

Longboard Skate – pure fun and pure flow – build balance, strength,

coordination, body awareness and confidence for skating, surfing and life

Longboard Dancing – an introduction to longboard dancing – learn the basics – here you can develop grace, timing, balance and dance skills on the longboard all self paced so you can relax and enjoy the process.

Private Individual Lesson – 1 hour – $70

Private lesson x 2 people – 1 hour – $55 p/p

Private lesson x 3 people – 1 hour – $50 p/p

* an additional call out fee of $120 applies to locations of Augusta, Dunsborough & Busselton

All equipment supplied including:

Margaret River skatepark lessons

Learn to use the skate park at the world class Margaret River Skatepark – learn to use the awesome pump track and ramps of the skatepark

Private lesson x 2 people 1 hour – $55 p/p

Surf lesson / skate lesson combined package - Margaret River

Experience the beautiful Margaret River coastline with a learn to surf, learn to skate package

Feel first hand the exhilaration of surfing and surf skill development in a package that includes both learning to surf and learning to skate with one experienced personal coach to help guide you in the water and on wheels.

Your skate lesson will help you activate the balance muscles and body awareness required to improve your surf skills.

The longboard skate component perfectly compliments and develops the balance and body awareness skills needed for surfing and helps with your success and enjoyment when learning to surf.

The surf and skate experience can run on one morning (min 4 hours required) or over two consecutive days. This includes a one hour skate lesson and a two hour surfing lesson.

All equipment provided or you can use your own if you have it.

Skate lesson options include:

Surf skate training (smoothstar) – Skatepark (beginner level) – Longboard skate

Your surfing lesson will be run with Bec through Margaret River Surf School.

We will head to the most suitable local location for our surf lesson and have a full two hour lesson which will include around 1.5 hours in the water after some beach based learning. Wetsuits and boards supplied or you can bring your own.

Surf Skate Lessons - SmoothStar skate lessons

Surf skate – Learn the Basics to be able to freely enjoy the surf skating experience

Make the most of what surf skating can do for your surfing development.

All skate equipment and protective equipment is supplied or you can bring your own

Margaret River – indoor venue Monday – Friday (7:30am – 3pm)
Saturday and Sunday lessons in Margaret River are available on request
Busselton Foreshore (min 4 participants per booking & are bookings essential) Monday to Friday (7am – 10am)
Please note: There is an additional call out fee charge for lessons run outside of Margaret River
